Biography
Kari Ginsburg is a trauma-informed executive and life coach with a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. Recognized as one of the Top 15 Coaches in Washington, DC in 2024, she brings a compassionate and strategic approach to coaching, helping individuals navigate professional and personal growth with confidence.
Since 2020, Kari has supported more than 300 individuals through one-on-one and small group coaching, as well as custom workshops. Her clients include political appointees, executives across industries, small business owners, stay-at-home parents, creatives, and artists. She adapts her coaching style to meet each client’s needs, creating an inclusive, ethical, and judgment-free space for growth.
Her career path has spanned multiple sectors, beginning as a theater and English teacher before transitioning into event planning and 13 years of federal service. She started as an Administrative Officer at the National Institutes of Health and later became the Director of Workforce Management at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She was then recruited to Booz Allen Hamilton, where she worked as an internal and external Lead People Strategy Specialist. In addition to her coaching work, she volunteers with arts and animal welfare organizations.
Kari is certified in a range of coaching models and techniques, focusing on holistic and results-driven development. She believes in creating coaching spaces that are confidential, accountable, and free of judgment, ensuring her clients receive the support they need to make meaningful progress.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kari is a dog mom and proud aunt, a lover of used bookstores, a backyard beekeeper, and a true crime enthusiast. She is also a brain tumor survivor, bringing resilience and perspective to every aspect of her work.
